2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide a valid, accurate email address.
You must notify us immediately at "Contact Us" option if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Account Use

Your account allows you to access member-restricted areas of the website and, separately, to purchase a sambo competition membership. Purchasing a competition membership will require you to complete a further registration process and accept additional terms specific to competition participation.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we reasonably believe these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, or any applicable law has been violated.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Sambo Federation of Australia Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or your account.

7. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share your information with:

Wix.com Ltd, as our website and Members Area hosting provider, to the extent necessary for them to provide their services to us

Relevant sambo governing bodies (state or international), only if and when this becomes necessary in connection with a competition membership — this will be disclosed separately at the time such information is collected

We retain your personal information for as long as your account or membership remains active, and thereafter for as long as necessary to:

Comply with our legal, taxation, and regulatory obligations, and
Resolve disputes or enforce our agreements

Once your information is no longer required for these purposes, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
